¡Feliz Navidad!

Children leave shoes and clogs outside the house to be filled with presents. They also leave carrots in their shoes for Sinterklaas's horse.

Children with guilt conscience will eat sweets to quiet the mind. One of the richest and most special buscuit is the banketletter (letter cake). It´s a buiscuit made from marzipan in the shapes of the first letter of the people names who are at the party.
Enrique and I arrived on the 5th. We had dinner at a restaurant and cheers with friends with Spanish and Dutch with beer. Next day 6th at work teaching the workshop "The Secrets of Storytelling" at the Cervantes Institute of Utrecht. By the way, it was wonderful with lovely stories. I take this opportunity to thank all people those wonderfull moments in the workshop. I enjoyed it very much.
So if you're at Christmas night of December 5 in Holland and someone knocks on your door, it is Sinterklass. He will left you a bag of gifts or maybe he will take you to the warm Spain.
